New comprehensive apprenticeship initiative aims to develop next generation of engineering talent with focus on advanced manufacturing technologies.
JTEKT Europe announces the launch of an expanded engineering apprenticeship program, investing in the development of future engineering talent and addressing the industry's skills gap.
The comprehensive four-year program combines hands-on experience in our manufacturing facilities with academic study, covering advanced manufacturing technologies, quality management, and lean production principles. Apprentices work alongside experienced engineers on real projects, gaining practical skills while contributing to our operations.
The program has been expanded to accept 50 apprentices annually, more than double our previous intake. We have partnered with leading technical colleges to deliver a curriculum that reflects the latest industry requirements and emerging technologies including automation, digitalization, and sustainable manufacturing.
"Developing young talent is crucial for our future success," said our HR Director. "Our apprentices bring fresh perspectives and enthusiasm while learning from our experienced team members. Many of our senior engineers started their careers as apprentices with JTEKT."
