JTEKT announces a major investment in expanding our production capacity for wind energy bearing solutions, responding to the rapidly growing renewable energy sector.
The new dedicated production facility will focus on manufacturing large-diameter bearings for wind turbine applications, including main shaft bearings, yaw bearings, and pitch bearings. The facility is expected to be operational by Q2 2025 and will double our current wind energy bearing production capacity.
This expansion aligns with global renewable energy targets and positions JTEKT as a key supplier in the transition to sustainable energy. Our wind turbine bearings are designed for extended service life in harsh environmental conditions, contributing to improved turbine reliability and reduced maintenance costs.
The project will create approximately 150 new jobs and includes state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment and quality control systems to ensure the highest standards of precision and reliability.
